Asolva Unveils Quocient at HIMSS08 in Orlando, Florida
February 21, 2008Asolva Unveils Quocient at HIMSS08 in Orlando, Florida Los Angeles, CA -- Asolva, Inc., a leading developer of technology solutions for the healthcare and education markets, announced today the upcoming release of Quocient, the next generation software tool for collection and analysis of survey, audit and inspection data. Asolva will demonstrate a pre-release version of Quocient at the HIMSS08 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida (booth #1726). Quocient will be released in a private beta at the end of Q1 2008.
Hospitals must comply with numerous regulations to avoid substantial financial penalties and possible loss of accreditation. Traditionally, they have used paper documents or spreadsheets to conduct internal audits and inspections. Unstructured forms and multiple inconsistent versions create opportunities for redundant data entry, data integrity problems and inefficient and delayed data collection. As a result, hospitals do not perform enough audits and their audits are not as thorough as they could be, thereby increasing the risk of non-compliance.
Quocient is the solution to these problems. Quocient is an enterprise solution that can be deployed on any web capable platform including notebooks, desktop PCs, PDAs, tablet PCs and Pocket PCs. No programming or database knowledge is needed to design audit and inspection forms using Quocient's intuitive drag and drop interface. Forms are designed once and instantly deployable for use on multiple platforms. It streamlines the collection of data across multiple users, teams and organizations in health care. These organizations will benefit from using Quocient in any number of applications including hospital self audits, quality audits and patient satisfaction surveys.
"Asolva currently has two products used for data collection and analysis; daVinci and Q-Forms" said John Keeler, Asolva's VP of Product Strategy. "Currently, Asolva customers are using these products for a number of diverse applications such as quality surveys and hospital audits. Web-based Q-Forms is more suited for adhoc surveys but lacks flexibility in forms development and complex data relationships. daVinci has robust forms and handles more complex data relationships but is not web deployable. Quocient will replace the highly successful Q-Forms product and consolidate its capabilities with daVinci's".
The private beta will be open to existing and potential Asolva customers by invitation. Invitations can be requested by contacting info@asolva.com. Organizations and individuals participating in the private beta will receive preferential pricing consideration on the public release, targeted for Q2 2008.
