Asolva Gives Away iPod Touch at HIMSS08 Annual Conference & Exhibition
March 17, 2008Orlando, FL -- Congratulations to Air Force Lt. Col. Jean Meink for winning Asolva's iPod touch drawing held at the HIMSS08 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida. Lt. Col. Jean Meink is the Executive Information Decision Support (EIDS) Director of Clinical Informatics in Falls Church, Virginia.
Asolva exhibited at HIMSS08 to offer a preview of Quocient, the next generation software tool for collection and analysis of survey, audit and inspection data. "The feedback from the healthcare community on Quocient was absolutely amazing" said Chun Wong, CEO of Asolva. "We demonstrated Quocient to visitors across the clinical and IT spectrum. We had healthcare organizations currently doing audits using paper, home-grown software and commercial software, and when they saw Quocient, they were all impressed by the sophistication and completeness of our functionality. You have unprecedented form design flexibility through drag and drop. You can collect data anywhere through the web, PDAs or tablet PCs. You have fine-level permissions control of who can access the data. Intelligent alerts mine for patterns. We have taken the years of experience from Q-Forms, the predecessor of Quocient, and evolved data collection to a new level."
Quocient will be released as a beta in early Q2 2008 with production release scheduled by the end of Q2 2008.
The HIMSS08 Annual Conference & Exhibition reported more than 28,400 attendees consisting of physicians, nurses, administrators, pharmacists, payors and other key players in healthcare IT participating in more than 300 educational sessions and thought-provoking keynotes addressing leading issues.
