Asolva’s daVinci System Adds Smart Templates, Enables Hospital Auditors to Automatically Create Quality Improvement, JCAHO and EMTALA Reports
December 1, 2009Los Angeles, CA –- Asolva (www.asolva.com) a leading provider of healthcare data analytics and reporting systems, has added a new set of smart templates to daVinci, its health organization audit report software.
The new smart templates enable audit teams to create dozens of different types of audit reports from one master dashboard. The reports can be configured to allow single or multiple responses to questions within a single audit report. The smart templates enable auditors to quickly access needed information at a new location without having to create new forms from scratch. The templates also speed collection of specific data sets for different audit types including quality improvement, infection control, medication management and compliance reports for JCAHO and EMTALA.
The daVinci system automatically compiles and analyzes the appropriate audit and field inspection data for hospital audit teams. Inspection forms are built using dropdowns, radio buttons, and checkboxes where structured data is needed and free text boxes for narrative information such as observations and recommendations. The software enables reports to be printed on-site or at a central office. Report data can be exported to Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe PDF or RTF files.
The daVinci software is currently in use at a number of hospitals in California. The software has completed thousands of assessments, collecting data across many departments and medical centers.
